Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called This is Tina Time. Her first appearance into Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director of popular television programs like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her childhood. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
