She began her career as a model and after gaining recognition internationally, she decided to make her debut in acting. Her acting career began with Baywatch Nights, a television show. Alongside voice acting, she has voiced an animated adaptation of the Batman Beyond Return of the Joker movie. Harmon took the decision in early 2000s that she would only be working on movies, and to stop working on TV.
