But it was her performance as Eden Hamby in the TV series True Blood that grabbed the attention of the film fraternity. Basso performed the role of Eden Hamby of DJ Caruso's film "Standing up". It was a coming-of age tale that was inspired by the book The Goats by Brock Cole. The film premiered in 2012 at the 'Cannes Film Festival. Basso has two older brothers, Alexandria Basso and Gabriel Basso.
